Authenticity is required everywhere; authentication means to verify the identity of a sender. Authentication technique tries to verify that the message is coming from an authentic sender rather than from an imposter. Digital signature is a method device for the purpose of authentication of an object. It is based on public key encryption or decryption. Digital signature is similar to that of signing transaction documents when we deal with a bank.

Microsoft @ E3 2008
