Nano-technology makes things small. It is one of the most recent advance developments that science has offered to mankind. Nano basically means small. Nano-technology deals with making things small and compact, but at the same time maintains the greatness of the product. It offers diversity to a product.

Man has always been in the process of renovation and always seeks new creations. He has always been in awe of small but good things. From the time the first computer was invented to todays laptops, there always has been the urge to reduce the size. First it was IC or the Integrated Circuits, then came LSI or Large Scale Integration, then VLSI and ULSI. And now, its Nano-Technology. It deals with the integration of a million circuits on a single chip.

Remember the time the first cell phone came. It was so bulky, ugly and cumbersome. And now, we have the N-Series, Blackberry, with integrated music players, cameras, radios, Bluetooth plus a dozen other features. The most recent Shake phones which change the music automatically, as you shake the phone. Its all nano-technology that is driving the world.

Literally, nano-technology has made every gadget small, compact, attractive, advanced, and easy to carry. Nano-technology has brought almost every thing in our pockets, and still the process is going on.
