Karailiev’s Sitemap WordPress Plugin

This WordPress plugin helps in adding a XML sitemap to your blogsite. This plugin is used to show all the posts and pages to the various search engines. In version 0.7.1 you can fix the date bugs and in version 0.7 it adds the Google news sitemap and displays the posts of the last three days. It changes the format of the time and optimizes the database query.

In version 0.6 the visitors can decide the prioritization of categories, pages, tags and posts and also changing the frequency pattern. In version 0.5.1 it mends the compatibility problems and in 0.5 it pings Google for rebuilding and allows the visitors to alter the location of the sitemap.

In version 0.4 it restores the lost MySQL server connections, adds tags and categories to the sitemap. In version 0.3 when comments are submitted, edited or deleted and attachments are uploaded or deleted or edited there is an alternative to turn the sitemap on or off.

In version 0.2 the sitemap file contains the common name and it checks whether the file exists and is writeable. The URLs are generated by the sitemap based on the permalinks settings.
